What is Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a psychological therapy; it works with the mind to bring about positive change. The big difference between hypnotherapy and any other therapy is the use of hypnosis and hypnotic induction’s to facilitate change and uncover subconscious reason for emotional disturbance. Hypnotherapy can be effective for a whole range of emotional, psychological and behavioral issues helping you to clear out any unwanted thoughts or any conflicts you may have about yourselves.

We use a (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy based form of Hypnotherapy: A therapy widely regarded as one of the most effective forms of therapy is used frequently by the NHS Service.

Our CBT-based Hypnotherapy combines the efficiency of hypnotherapy with the self-awareness that CBT offers, making it a highly successful way to change behavior, embedding and consolidating new thinking as well as aiding deep relaxation. In fact, research has shown that this approach is up to 80% more successful than straightforward hypnotherapy.

Conditions where Hypnotherapy can help?

It has been shown to be effective in treating a number of issues, including:

Physiological issues
Anxiety
Lack of confidence
Anger
Performance issues
Unwanted habits or addictions
Phobias
Weight control
Stress

How long does Hypnotherapy treatment last?

A consultation session normally takes about an hour; many clients cannot believe how quickly the time passes. This is because in the relaxed hypnotic state we are not as aware of time as we are in our normal state.

It is generally a short-term method of treatment and you will usually benefit from it within the first few sessions. Those people who are motivated to change have the most success.
